Two years ago we lost our darling little Lily . I had Lily and her brother Paddy as pups when we lived abroad , dreadfully badly bred , we knew that they wouldnt be long lived terriers like my others have been, but it was worth every second of heartbreak to give them a short but infinately happy life . We lost Paddy aged three and Lily at seven years old, much longer than expected as she suffered dreadful seizures, but most of her years were filled with fun and happiness , thinking of you both today xxxx
Re: Lily , two years on So sorry, Kate Anniversaries are a challenge.... Sounds like you were the best possible thing to happen to Lily and Paddy and they would've loved you dearly.
Re: Lily , two years on Hope you can focus on the joy and happy bits, Kate, so sad they leave so soon.
Re: Lily , two years on I know you will have packed a full lifetime of happiness, fun and love into their shortened years Kate, especially living in that beautiful house in France x
Re: Lily , two years on So sorry Kate losing your lovely little dogs so soon :'(. One thing is for sure, they will have had all the love and care anyone could give with you. Thinking about you. xxxxx
Re: Lily , two years on Nearly two years ago I lost my very beloved Flick, but at least she was old. I am so sad for you to lose young dogs. x
Re: Lily , two years on I have lost three young dogs Stacia , all were chosen by us as they needed extra care . I truly believe that quality of life is important , we have time to give and they needed us , it is very sad indeed but unlike some poor souls , at least they all knew what it was to be truly cherished x
Re: Lily , two years on To be cherished is the most important thing; dogs don't know about death and live in the moment, so if that moment is perfect their lives, even if short, are a life well lived. Your dogs were lucky to have been found by you. x
