Oh I can watch all your videos, they are great!!! He is such a brave boy!!!! And I never visioned you as a fellow blonde!!
Thanks. She's letting me shut her in the crate overnight at the moment but is a bit of a handful at the minute, barking at me quite a bit in frustration, so I'm giving her 2 minute time outs by shutting in another room then she stops. Then I reward and continue to play/ train. She's been on restricted exercise for a week so no wonder, but I won't be able to cope with her barking at me constantly for the next few months, she's not going to enjoy the day time crating either I'm thinking she's going to be vocally protesting
Maybe make a long list of all the things you can train her to do, games etc so you can just consult your list when you're in need of some low-impact activity to wear out the doggie brain. Also have a think about arrangements you can make so that you yourself can have a break. Your sanity is important too. Did you say earlier that you have a hydro/swimming facility near you...?
Yes I did but she won't be able to access that until at least 6 weeks after op I don't think. Yes will keep going, I've ordered some liver treats by barkers too . I'm finding short walks are getting her more worked up as immediately after the zoomies start
Ps I don't trust anyone else post op, my parents are up for a few days trust them, but then it's just me as the 8 week post op is critical and I don't trust anyone else...!
Are you able to do any hydro pre-op? If you have time. Might be worth going for a session for "fun" just now if you haven't ever been.
That is a great idea - then you'll be familiar with the territory when the time comes to take Bella under circumstances where you'll be wanting to concentrate on her rather than working out where to go and what the system is. Totally understand not trusting anyone else with her care. Maybe just planning some special at-home treats for yourself, then
