Hi, I started doing clicker retrieve with Cassie quite a few weeks ago as she was running off with the dummy. I found it really helpful as I could practice in house and garden, initially while the weather was bad and for the last 4 weeks while she has been in season. She has been bringing it back to me and I have been teaching the hand touch too, so she's getting the idea to put it in my hand.
Anyway today I plucked up courage to try in the great outdoors, I picked a spot between the lake and field fence. To my delight she happily brought it to me (for a piece of sausage), 2 out of three times to my hand. It was only her second off lead walk for a month and an hour after her tea, so I am feeling pleased.

I know it's not going to set the world alight but it is an improvement for us. Little steps:):)

Thank you to everyone who advised on my previous posts.
