Every time I would start blubbering again she would come and nudge me as if to say "Stop crying mummy I'm fine!!!"

Lola is a beautiful little, puppy,I'm so sorry you both got such a fright, some people are just horrible not to mention irresponsible ....trying to socialize your dog around a mixture of different dogs successfully is really difficult ....people aren't always honest about whether their dog is friendly or not and when you've had a bad experience it can make you nervous of trying again.hope you feel better today, and Lola is ok,don't let this put you off xxx

I am so sorry! I just took Tiger to the park where 3 chihuahuas tried to gang up on him but settled down a bit after sniffing. I had spoken to the middle school girls before and they were tryna get a hold of them. I asked them why they did not put all 3 on a leash to which they replied like typical middle schoolers, " I don't know." Chihuahuas are VERY territorial. Tiger didn't understand since he was in I WANNA PLAY MODE that the dogs considered him to be a little too feisty. He was trying to jump and I had to restrain him and even pick him up at one point. Eventually he calmed down and understood that with the little dogs, sniffing is fine, just don't get all up in their faces.

What scares me is those dogs really could have attacked him. They KNEW they had numbers and tried to use it to their advantage. Tiger wasn't hurt but still.

How can people be so irresponsible? I won't hold them to it since they are afterall kids but bring those dogs to the wrong owner and they'll be in for a shock.

I re-read your story again. I do not know if this was a dog park or what, but in the U.S you HAVE to put your dogs on a leash/lead at all times or risk getting run over and that's the end of it. Its harsh, I know. I am so sorry this happened and I understand on the pack mentality. It made me wonder about those chihuahuas.Look how brave they felt with the girls, nephews and 3 of them? Makes me think about society and the nature of human beings. When they have numbers, they dominate. Its a bit sick.

It bloody happened AGAIN this morning. Same dog same spot.

I can't believe it, I am just so damn mad now!

It snapped at her backside again and I scooped her straight up in the meantime his owner was just strolling along as calm as you like saying "come on Dexter it's ok" and the dog didn't listen to a word she said.

I don't believe in bad dogs just damn bad owners.

Why should my dog suffer just because she is too bloody lazy to train her dog?!?!?!

As soon as she approached I looked her straight in the eye and said "That is the second time your dog has bit her" and NOTHING.

How can people be so ill-mannered?

I am going back in the morning and I am going to have my phone ready to record the lot and I am going straight to the police!

Aaargh    Vent over!

So sorry to hear that you've had another bad experience.

But third time, maybe just pick your pup up first then there won't be a problem, and you won't have to call the police.

There are loads of dogs me and Charlie avoid. That's just the way it is. Loads of people I avoid too - but better that than let it get to you and ruin your day? :)
