Thankyou simba2017. I am saddened by the loss of your dog as a child at such a young age. It's tragic.
All the photos you all have of your labs on here are lovely. Beve yours reminds me very much of murphy. He looks very like him x

Can I gently suggest @PamW that you start a memory box ? You may not feel like doing it now, but when you feel able , it will help . Then , in time, you can look back and smile at things he did , how he was , it can help as can planting a rose or shrub in memory of your lovely boy x

@PamW I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Sending you big hugs. We lost our boy when he was five after a very short illness, so I really feel your pain. Xx

Again, thank you all for your replies. Kate in Cornwall we are getting his ashes put into a pebble with a plaque on it with his name engraved onto it and my friend bought me a small rose plant so thought we would put them in garden next to each other so had same thinking as you with that. Thankyou. I may start the memory box. I am planning on printing all the photos I have of him over the years and keeping those also. Thankyou all xx

So sorry to hear of your loss, PamW. You will find lots of shoulders to cry on here, should you need.
We'd love to hear more about your Murphy, and to see some pictures, when you feel up to sharing.

In that case Murphy must have been a very handsome dog. I look forward to some pictures of him when you are able xx
