Re: Lovely Chocolate Charlie I know it's only been 3 weeks - it's killed me, really killed me, to have my pup in pain, and not have him with me. This is perfect, he gets home for 3 days, then back for treatment for 4 and I go to work.
Re: Lovely Chocolate Charlie Wow, how fabulous!! Yippee!!! Now don't tie yourself up in knot worrying about him while he's home, just ENJOY!!!
Re: Lovely Chocolate Charlie I think they have done an amazing job - he is fully weight bearing, not lame, doing 5 x 10minutes of walking a day, 2.5 weeks after cruciate surgery. That's not to be sniffed at... They filmed him today, just so they can prove it, I think.
Re: Lovely Chocolate Charlie A Top weekend for you and Charlie will be soooo pleased to be home for the weekend...
Re: Lovely Chocolate Charlie Good luck for the journey bet you wil be setting off soon ,let us know how he is x
Re: Lovely Chocolate Charlie Thank you! Yes, setting off at 9am as have to do another PROM and physio lesson before we can take him to make sure we can keep up his routine. It's wonderful. Just wonderful. If we cope ok, and our rearranged work hours work out, we can stick with this pattern of home for weekends, back for the week. He doesn't do any hydro at the weekends anyway. It will be a bit easier on me in terms of time too - as it's time consuming to visit 3 times a week (takes half a day each time if I stay for a decent visit).
Re: Lovely Chocolate Charlie Am thinking of you, have a lovely weekend. Will Charlie mind going back :'(

Re: Lovely Chocolate Charlie He's home! And immediately quieter and more himself. He pulled everyone round the hydro centre on his lead like a banshee, but at home he is as normal. Sure, still lively and I've got to watch him, but much more normal. Just more relaxed. He seems to have a grubby left ear now! Sigh....but I know how to treat it now, so hopefully have it cleared up in no time.
