I am a mama to a human boy (16) and 4 furkids (3 cats; Grayson, Story, and Maebry and a lab/mix we just adopted a week ago named Lucy). Lucy turned one May 19th. We think she is a lab/pitbull mix. She was given to an older couple by their daughter when she was a young pup, as she grew, they realized they were unable to keep up with her and give her everything she needed. She is super sweet, a ball of energy, and loves playing with her new mama and human sibling. The first few days she wanted to keep track of the both of us and now it's like she has been a part of the family since the beginning. I look forward to meeting you all and all your furkids.
A very warm welcome to you,all your Family and Lucy .....I guess a Labrador/pitbull x is a 'Pitador' We have Dexter our soon to be 3 year old yellow boy......I was once asked if he was a mixed with a pitbull! I'm only familiar with the pitbull breed from items I've read but basing what I'm writing on that only, I can't imagine that Lucy was a great fit for an older couple .....so well done on offering her a more appropriate home with you,it sounds like she is settling in really well. Hello to Lucy from our Maui who was 11 weeks on Monday! She's been busy with my daughter, granddaughters and her fur cousins, Sierra and Cocoa, both chocolate labs here for a visit. It's hot here too ... we are in GA, where in the south are you? Had some big storms last night and didn't phase Maui at all .... but guess it's going to be mid 90's again today .... more pool time for the little girls and the fur kids I guess!
Waving a big hello back to you.....look north and you might see me....actually you won't. I'm up in Canada (Alberta) where "hot" can be a relative term most days but we are actually in for a nice weekend with highs in the upper 20sC to low 30s - that's in the 80sF or so. I share my house with Simba, a Lab/Newfie mix.
