Re: Maisies here! She is gorgeous. Especially love the photo of her cuddled up with Murphy. I wouldn't be concerned about her not pooing overnight as my Molly never once needed to poo in the night as a puppy.
Re: Maisies here! Lovely! I found Tatze a bit too playful with Gypsy when Gypsy first arrived, 'tho gentle, but they soon settled into routines as the excitement of a new sister settled down. Now I never need to separate them. Tatze did go through a phase of being too rough with Gypsy on free runs, but I put her on the lead every time it happened and she soon learned to cool it.
Re: Maisies here! Great first night! Congratulations! Hope it continues being so wonderful! You will be tired getting up almost every two hours, so catch naps if you can! Good luck.
Re: Maisies here! I found night with Poppy were a doddle, because she had calm old Bones there to keep her company. Fingers crossed the same goes for Maisie with Murphy!
Re: Maisies here! Second night was good for sleeping (once Id managed to stop crying and get to sleep). We decided we would try one night of waiting for Maisie to wake me up when she wanted to go out. So she went to bed and had last wee at 11pm. And the first noise I heard was at 5am! So as soon as I heard her whining I jumped up ran down and took her straight out but she had already gone in her crate. The thing is her whining isn't very loud so I don't know whether she d been whining for a while or whether she just didn't have time to wait. I then popped her back in her crate and went back to sleep and then she woke up whining at 7. So same thing legged it down took her out but I could smell that she had already gone. So. My plan of action for tonight is to set alarm for 4.30am after her last wee at 11am, and hopefully catch her first, and then gradually make it slightly later. I'm pleased that when I put her into her crate for anything she doesn't whine at all x
Re: Maisies here! Inca was a quiet whiner in the night too and like you we got caught out the first night. I think your plan sounds good and if the timings are out again then just bring it forward.
Re: Maisies here! Great 3rd night despite the atmosphere in our house being so low and depressed. We put her out for last wee at 10 and then I set my alarm for 3. Went down took her out and her and murphy went. Then put her back in crate, no whining, and then set my alarm for 6.50 with fingers crossed, and perfect no whining went down let her out and she's had her brekky, a play and another snooze and is now hanging off murphys ear lol
Re: Maisies here! Just gorgeous, I collect my chocolate lab Mabel, at the end of the month. When I see such gorgeous pictures I feel even more puppy broody than normal

Re: Maisies here! Great night with maiseballs . Last wee at 11, then I went down at 3.45 and took her and murphy out for a wee, and then back in crate with no whining and then I went down at 7. She's had her brekky, a wee and a poo and a bit of a play, so I thought is chance it and put her back in her crate so I can have a snooze with murphy in bed and she's silent and I assume asleep! Perfect! She does seem so much easier than murphy! She's only had a couple of accidents each day which is never her fault and she's quite happy entertaining herself with her toys. I don't know whether it's because murphy was on his own and she's got him to play with but it is so much easier this time round! I have only had her 4 days though so I may eat my words in the next few weeks!!

Dog number two is soo much easier as dog number one keeps them in line (especially at the crocapup stage )
