my fixed male lab mix is 115 pounds and is 6 years old. Within the past year he has been having issues. We seem to think it’s urninary but now think it may be something else. About once a month he will go to pee and it starts out normal then goes to a drip. He will pace the yard and it comes out as he walks like he’s got no control over it. Eventually he gets into the poop position and he is still peeing but not his “red rocket” is out in full force and he can’t do either. He will come back to be let inside and as he starts to walk he starts peeing again and has the look like sorry I can’t control it. This week he did it again but now it’s coming out like he has no muscle control over it. Vet did lab work on urine and xrays and we’ve been to a neurologist and all. He’s a medical mystery at this point. Has anyone else dealt with anything like this before. Or any suggestions. He has also developed tremors as well. Could be related maybe not. Stones? Crystals? Hip issues? Don’t know and am at wits end as he pees a river in my house. Tried cranberry pills, muscle relaxers, seizure meds, etc. the only thing that temporarily helped and the vet was against is cbd oil.
Any help or suggestions are welcome.
