hi, new to this fabulous forum. Does anybody have any information on good massage courses, I don't have any background in anatomy but would love to be help mine and other dogs stay healthy. Is there a recommended body for accreditation etc?
Hi and welcome. I don't know if there is one central accreditation body for Canine massage therapists but a quick search brought up two training schemes in the UK. I know nothing about these courses or the reputations of the organisations concerned, but hopefully a read of their pages will provide you with an insight into whether these sort of courses are relevant for you http://www.k9-massage.co.uk/main/events_train.asp http://www.caninetherapy.co.uk/courses/canine-myotherapy-diploma/ Both courses require you to either have or to attain an indepth knowledge of canine anatomy and physiology before you can take part in any "hands on" learning.
