Hiya, I realise that this is predominantly a Labrador forum but am I right in thinking there are Springer owners amongst you? I've read Pippa's books 'The Happy Puppy' and am currently reading 'Total Recall' which are excellent and am hoping to put those tips into practical training with my 10 week old Springer Spaniel, Max. I've also enquired about a puppy session with an instructor from The Gundog Club but their website seems to have disappeared? Anyone know if it's a temporary issue with the site or whether the Club has ceased to exist? Anyway, looking forward to hearing all about your little fur babies.
Re: Max the Springer Spaniel Welcome ;D Yes there are some Springer owners on here, though I am not one of them. I have had German Shorthaired Pointers but now on Labs. You have a gorgeous pup, let the fun begin! I tried to go on the website you mentioned, but found like you, there was an error. Perhaps Pippa will know why.
Re: Max the Springer Spaniel Hi My brother has two GSP's. Gorgeous dogs. Our choice was between a Labrador and a springer but in the end the Springer won out - as I found a breeder at the right time and in the right place I was on the site just the other night but when I tried to get it on today it had gone. Very strange :-\

Re: Max the Springer Spaniel Thanks everybody. I think he's super cute but I'm a teeny bit biased @kateincornwall - where abouts are you? We have a caravan near St Austell and visit often. Max came from a breeder in St Austell too so he barks with a Cornish accent

Re: Max the Springer Spaniel Hello there,your puppy is gorgeous.I've got Dexter a yellow lab who is 19 months old.We didn't get a family dog until I was 16, he was a black and white cocker and a procession of spaniels followed him..I wish now I'd taken more notice of the training stage rather than just practising cuddling skills with them ;D
