Found these photos of Mira's grandfather today (end-of-year admin avoidance :-[) He looks rather dashing and is the same colour as her mother http://www.uklabs.com/sires/luke_profile_2011.pdf
Re: Mira's grandfather Magnificent! Wonder how many hours of training a day it would take to get a labrador to that sort of standard?
Re: Mira's grandfather Lovely colour! I love looking at the dogs in Charlie's history if I get a few minutes. It's super interesting. His line diverted away from working lines way back, just after Banchory Bolo in fact....
Re: Mira's grandfather I haven't looked that far back, but Mira does have Bolo Spots on her paws so I guess she and Charlie may be distantly related Although I suspect that going that many generations back, you could say that for a large proportion of the labs on here
Re: Mira's grandfather Yes, it's very likely a fair few of them can find an ancestor or two in common.

Re: Mira's grandfather Beautiful dog, but how could anyone send him to America! I don't mean America is bad, just how could anyone part with him! JulieT it is thought that my Lab may go back to Banchory Bolo as he has white stripes on the back of his ankles down to his forepaws.
Re: Mira's grandfather I'd say most dogs could find Bolo in their pedigree somewhere though, it would be surprising if they couldn't, really. At least, that's the way I understand it. And if not Bolo, then Avon.
