The weather has broken here and both dogs have picked up - I hope the same goes for Moo...

Still clear and dry here a few miles south west of you.
Monty is shocking in this heat, he walks so slowly he looks positively geriatric.

He might make Moo a good toy boy, they could bimble along together

    Still dry here.
Pongo has spent the whole day flaked out on the kitchen tiles or hanging his head out the door to catch the air.
I love the nice weather but right now I really want a good downpour!

Yes I agree, it is lovely weather, but all the streams are dry round here. Yesterday all Cass could find was a puddle of mud in a stream bed - she stuck her head right in and blew bubbles, and emerged with a chocolate head on a black body :)

A true protogee of Pongo, he would be so proud @Rosie. (I don't know how to spell protogee)

Poor Moo. Really hot here too but Simba takes it all in stride. We were away for a few days so he was at the kennel, he's flaked out now as we watch TV in the cooler lower level of the house.

Hope you get some cooler temps. You can send the hot weather here, we get so little of it I really don't mind too much. :)

Just catching up @SwampDonkey, how is Moo this morning?

Casper has been really struggling with heat. We have bought him a quiet tower fan, it really works! Don't ask me how the air says cool but it does. I think they are great for dogs as the air flow is at a lower height, compared to the usual oscillating fans.

There is an even quieter model but think it has been out of stock for a while..

Yep wet towels and I mist her like a rubber plant:D shes not to keen in the towels though
Oh and me took her on her fav walk it's cool its along a tree lined brook it's so cool she loves it. She had a paddle and was so happy. Its about 20 mins so not too tiring for her and it's much cooler today . She loved it and she ran up to me and just looked smily and happy. She's asleep in her bed now content and snory. It made me a bit teary watching her splash and paddle. Such a sweet old bear.
