Beautiful and they look like they're having fun...

May I ask one question? I hear your 3 pip whistle....but heard it 3 times....is that repeating the command...or is the 3 pause 3 pause 3 your command???

Good question. That is actually my recall whistle - a series of pips grouped in threes. ;D But from a closer distance I just use three pips and a softer tone. I don't really see it as repeating a command, to be honest my dogs are all up and running towards me when they hear the very first short pip of the whole series and don't sit there waiting for me to stop whistling.

I am now really happy because that's what I do but thought I was doing it wrong I carried on though because it works. Now I can say that's how Heidrun does it. Brilliant. ;)

Great video heidrun. They look so happy racing back. ;D

Thanks for the clarification....I've kind of wondered about repeating the recall as she runs toward me as a reinforcement technique in my mind, but wasn't sure what that translated to in "dog speak". ;D ;D Especially with recalls from a distance.
