I know how your feeling my heart goes out to you there is definitely something special about a Labrador they have the most beautiful faces and gentleness which cannot be matched with anyone thoughts are with you x
I am deeply sorry, I know what it feels like. I suppose we have to suffer the pain for the love they give us during their lifetimes and we wouldn't be without that.
Hugs. Allow the mourning to take place and eventually you will be able to think of her without tears but with smiles at the memories. When we lost our fifteen year old Shanna, the hardest part for me for at least a month was when I shut the curtains at night, especially the one that overlooked her grave. I would stand at the window and cry because I was "shutting her out". Eventually, I was able to whisper good night without tears. Now, when I think of her while at that window, I smile and mentally give her a hug reminding myself that she is playing catch with Jesus and has no pain....
I'm so sorry for your loss I lost my best friend in the world not long before Christmas after 14 super years and just could not cope without the big soft lab eye's looking at me now have a 15 week old lab puppy
Deboragh, so sorry. We lost Leão a few days before Christmas, I don't keep sad dates in my head, so I don't know the exact one, ever. I miss him. We love him, forever. A special kind of love, we learnt from him. Labs are out of this world, so much goodness in them.
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Losing your loved one especially the one very closed to you is definitely not easy - it's like losing a part of yourself. I'm sure she'll always be in your heart. Be gentle and give yourself time to grieve and in time you'll remember all the fond memories you had with her. Hugs from me and Bowie x
