I have just got a harness for my 7 month old chocolate Labrador I was using collar and lead but he was becoming incredibly strong however on our walks he constantly sits down and does not want to walk ov had to throw treats to get him home I don’t know if it’s the harness or something else I’d appreciate any tips or advice as this is extreme upsetting as I love walking and want Reggie to be happy walking

If a harness changes the mechanics of walking, then it shouldn't be used. Harnesses can damage a dog's skeleton and/or ligaments. So, is he telling you something? Film him walking with and without the harness. Look closely. Does the harness alter his gait? Is it rubbing? Is it compressing his body?
