Hi guys i have a 3 month old lab puppy and i just have some concern and would like some suggestions on how to correct them. My first one is my puppy will not leave my cats alone if one walks by him he instantly stops what hes doing and chases them. He doesnt hurt them or anything but I can't get him to stop and I am frustrated he does the same thing with my parents 2 month old collie puppy.
Mine grew out of his obsession with my elderly cat. I kept them separate as much as possible to start with. He is still fascinated but doesn't touch her and they both live in the kitchen. I have a stairgate with a cat flap on the void under the stairs which is brilliant for giving her somewhere safe to run to if she wants and keeps him out of her food and litter tray.
