Years ago, one of my dogs did not have the opportunity to see the dead dog's body and she seemed to turn her face to the wall and become depressed, so after a couple of weeks or so, I went out and found another puppy and she cheered up immensely.

I am so, so sorry for your loss Laurenxo. I feel your dreadful pain, we lost our beloved lab, Scooby, in similar circumstances last year. It is just terribly sad. xx

Dear Lauren, I am so very sorry - we were bereaved in a similar way last year when our darling William died.

The one thing that made it a bit easier to bear was still having George.

Thinking of you at this very sad time.

    Lynne, George and Henry x

    Sorry to hear about William.
It is making it slightly easier but still hard I don't think she's fretting as she's showing no signs but she has looked her Molly today in just keeping her distracted with long walks etc

Day 2 without her and it's still very hard the house isn't the same a robin visits us every morning since she has died not sure what that means. But my other dog Tilly doesn't seem to be grieving But I have been with her 24/7 since Molly passed. I think it's harder when we go walkies too cause other dog owns ask where the other one is.
Had much support from everyone it has helped and ment so much to us thank you from me and Tilly xx

I know what you mean about being asked about the other one's whereabouts - even the coastguards came out of the watchtower to ask me what had happened .
I put notes through the doors of my immediate neighbours as I couldn't speak about it and I was very touched to receive cards and flowers from them some of them. As it turns out Will had more friends them me.

sorry should read 'than' me - also should explain that my children were attempting a slight joke about the friends in an effort to cheer us all up a bit

It is a very tough time.... Hope you are holding up ok.

I'm sure that Tilly is getting a lot of cuddles.
