@snowbunny I've been reading Pippa's books and the proofing now makes complete sense. I met a 5 month old pup whilst out walking Maddie this morning. He got himself so over excited and his owner really struggled to get him back, I did think 'proofing'!!! I'm sure that will be me repeating the whole episode with Winnie in a few months time!
Yes, it will be worth the wait - particularly if it gives you time to catch up on sleep and puppy-proof your home!
