Now that you're beginning to see worms, it shows the wormer is doing it's job. I'm sure Jax will catch up on eating in the next few days.

Harry was already wormed when we got him, but being an outdoor stable puppy he was done again as soon as was safe, and we saw a few - it's awful I know how you feel!

I just wanted to say too, it comes across in your posts how much you adore him, he's lucky to have you. You're obviously very protective of him, and with that on his side, he'll be fine. x

As tartan mouse said, if they're coming out then he's on the mend. Never had them with Chip (thank heavens!) but my friend got her puppy from a breeder & he'd thrown up worms in the car before they even got him home, then again an hour or two after. I've never felt so sick at the sight of them....eeew!!! He'll be fine, he's probably just whacked from all the sickness & the runs. Good luck, let us know how he is!

    Re: My Jax isn't well

Jax pretty much slept all night, only waking once for a wee. I was constantly checking on him so made myself a little bed at the side of his crate but I didn't sleep, ended up watching rubbish on the tv lol.

I gave him some scrambled egg this morning and he licked his bowl clean lol. He passed some more worms shortly after eating so yes thankfully they are all coming out.
He's had some dinner and been drinking himself which is a good sigh isn't it.

His tummy is very hard and he's not laying on it so I've been warming some wheat bags which he seems to like laying near. I've spoke to the vet again and she says that by tea time today they should all be out but to give her a ring after 5 if not.

He's slept loads today so I'm just letting him lead us. Just want him better and back to his happy self.

JulieT- hubby is on with that- we wasn't offered copies but he's gonna try and get them again.

Aww thank you tartanmouse- he's is my baby and how unwell he was yesterday had me in bits. I would honestly out it on par to when my kids have been ill.
    Thanks again everyone

Oh Lisa, what a worrying time you have had, poor little Jax :( Worms can make them quite poorly , but with your care and your Vets help, he will soon be bouncing again :)

    Poor boy. Missed this yesterday.
Hope he's feeling a bit better. I guess they need to all get out his system.
Its worse than having a sick child I think :(

    Jax is a bit better.

It seems Jax is over the worst of it. He's eaten normally this aft and had no more worms. He's getting back to his normal self, he even sat by the door so I would take him out for the toilet and he's been playing a bit.

He's at vets tomorrow for his first injection and micro chipping- should I postpone them both until he is fully better? If not is there a special treat he would like.

Thank you so much everyone for all your kind words and advice, we really do appreciate it.

No idea if they will go ahead but vet postponed Charlie's first jab as he had had a couple of very loose stools previously so I guess they may. Charlie's favourite treats include roast chicken and cheese cubes and a baton of carrot! I think a big hug is just as appreciated. Hope it goes well xx

Thanks Emma, I will try the cheese. I'm kinda hoping they will postpone it as he's been through enough since yesterday, think ill ring them first and ask.

But I'll get him some cheese just for being brave lol.

Did they postpone? I would think it would be advisable, given that he's had such a difficult time.

    Re: My Jax isn't well

Thanks everyone- he is loads better and it's lovely to see him running about the garden and his tail wagging again.

I rang the vet who said he would be fine to have his 1st injection and micro chip but I cancelled and rebooked it for Monday- had to pay £25 cancellation charge but I just didn't feel right after everything he's been through the last couple of days.

So were going to have a fab weekend with lots of special treats, plenty of tlc and putting up our Christmas decorations for Jax's first Christmas. I've even bought him a christmas stocking lol.

Thank you to each and everyone of you. I never knew this much support existed but you have all helped me and Jax and made me feel so welcome (not like a pest lol) so thank you x
