Love both videos, especially the one of him playing with the ball in the field - look at him run! :sun:

Oh lucky Alfie - his own broom, a ball chucker, and his very own kids! Love the fetch video, he's got a better retrieve than Xena lol.

Hello . Well Alfie has been unwell for a couple of days due to his Leish and suffering with Kennel Cough. After a couple of visits to the vets and lots more medication he is on the mend. . He woke at 6.30 no gift this morning. He now sleeps on the bed with his head on the pillow and is having another lazy morning. This is bliss !!. He really made me laugh yesterday. We went for a walk and while we were in the middle of a field the heavens opened. Alfie was off his lead, well he ran . I panicked as I didn't know where he was going and he ignored me. All was ok he was only running to the nearest tree for some shelter. Clever boy. Xx

So glad he's feeling better and that you finally got to "sleep in" (lol) past 4.30am. Fingers crossed that he keeps up the trend. Maybe even making it to 10am one of these Sundays? Crazy idea, I know. :D

Bless him, that little dude really hates rain. I had him out for a jog one morning when it started to rain and he acted like each drop was whacking him with a jolt of electricity. It was sort of funny and sad at the same time.

Apparently he spent the first couple years of his life with no shelter at all. He just must have had his fill of the nasty wet stuff and wants no more of it! :tmi:

I contacted Catriona to ask if I could visit Toby/Alf when I'm in the UK this autumn...wouldn't that be a total hoot if I could see the little man again? I'd be doing the happy dance for sure! :monkey:

She posted a cute video of him recently playing with a new toy. He looks so happy and well-loved with his family. Lucky little man.

Thought this belonged here in the ancient Toby thread. Here's Toby (now Alf) cuddling the stuffed duck I brought him during my visit to Catriona two weeks ago. He had no interest in it when I gave it to him but just got this photo via FB from Catriona.

Great to see you here and the update. I'm so grateful I got to visit and really enjoyed meeting you. It was really inspiring to see what a happy life Alf has with you - he's exactly where he was always meant to be. I'll be coming back to the UK within the next few months so maybe we can have an "Alf Meet Up Part II". MAYBE I'll earn a cuddle next time! :D

Also I owe both you (@catrionas ) and the Forum some pics of my visit, so I'll post here and send to you via email too. I've been very slow with my photo posting lately. Bad Emily - no click and treat for me. :p
