**Posted with permission from Pippa** My PODCAST about force-free gundog training - called Hold the Line - is now on iTunes. ☄️⚡️ You can subscribe to it here: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podca...wsHW-9Xo7umhvBxu57JcD6OnQYa5JBTobscCR5SpQ4i0I If you use Stitcher, it’s here: https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/jo-laurens/hold-the-line?refid=stpr My first guests (episode 2) were Swedish gundog trainers Elsa Blomster and Lena Gunnarsson - authors of the ace book, Retrieving for All Occasions. ⚡️ We had a wide-ranging conversation about all kinds of things, but talked especially about training Sit to Flush without aversives for spaniels and HPRs. Elsa has retrievers, including a lovely young black lab called Keen - and Lena has cocker spaniels. Episode 3 is a solocast (just me), talking about marking and how to develop good marking, why it’s important, what equipment is useful, and the 6-point drill (called the X-drill in the US). Episode 4 is will be an interview with UK trainer Collette May. Collette has 3 black labs, which she competes with in tests and trials. She won Special Puppy a couple of weeks ago with her youngest lab, Grace, and in this episode we talk quite a bit about UK working tests and what's involved in them - and how you can give them a go. You are welcome to email or message me any training questions to discuss (Or post them on this thread!) I'm always looking for questions to answer Please hit subscribe, and if you like the podcast, give me some positive reinforcement with 5 stars on iTunes ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Yes, having been focussed on getting it off the ground in the first place, the fact that I have to keep it going, is dawning on me
Did you do the music, @Jo Laurens ? Nice touch. I was expecting the traveling wilburys. But heard 1950s sounds instead.
