Oh they were, I was really surprised by how active they were at just 3 weeks, they were quite curious. They were getting their nails done with the grinder too while we were there, they were little troopers.
Oh wow, they're so gorgeous! We didn't get to pick Ella either but I really don't think it matters. If anything it takes away the pressure of picking! I might have ended up with all of them otherwise ☺ (or just two of the litter hey snowbunny hehe) I think Jake is a great name, has a really nice sound to it. When we got down to the short list of names we tried to imagine yelling each one across the park to see if it worked! Good luck and fingers crossed the weeks go quickly for you ☺
Visited Jake again this morning, can't believe how he's grown. They were outside in the kennel area while the kitchen was being cleaned, and Mom was having a break. Only 19 sleeps until I bring him home
8 sleeps now I am so excited, feeling a little nervous too though. I think we're organised, and have everything we need except a collar and lead, but we'll get those once we have him.
Oh bet you can't wait....I can remember this time, the last week waiting for Dexter like it was yesterday....everything was set up like he was already here ...even his teddy sat on top of his bed....I must have arranged and then rearranged that teddy about 50 times! It lasted all of about 10 minutes when he arrived!!!!!
PaulG, Jake is gorgeous. They grow so fast don't they. We've only had our Dexter for 13 weeks and he's massive now, where did my Andrex puppy go?
Dun, dun, dun!!! Phone went this morning asking if I could cover a shift today as someone called in sick, my reply was "only if you take Sunday off me". Result - Fiona called and I'm now picking up Jake at 10:30 on Sunday morning. He's ready from tomorrow, but as I was working Fri, Sat and Sun, I said I'd leave him until Monday. Hubby was off Fri, Sat and Sun, but I didn't want him to have all the fun on his own, or was it that I didn't trust him? Oh well
