Hello. I’m not looking to use neem oil on my dog, but I’m looking to spray backyard to prevent beetles. Does anyone know how long to wait before my dog can walk in the backyard again? Is it toxic? Thank you for feedback.

I don't know, I once used a neem oil product for dogs (on my dog) as a natural preventative, but my dog ended up with cluster seazures. After I took him to the vet he was fine, however I firmly believe it was the spot-on that caused it, since it was 4 years ago and he hasn't had any seizures since. I don't know if it was the neem oil or some other substance in the product that caused it, but I didn't try anything again with neem oil. I got back to Advantix. Natural doesn't mean the dog won't be allergic to it, actually if it's an insecticide or an insect-repellent, natural or not, it's poison. Pyrethrine for example is pyrethrine, natural or manufactured, the chemical formula is the same.
