I know its no great help, but when I lost a young dog, someone told me that dogs dont know how old they are , they just know that they are loved and are content , my thoughts are with you xx
Re: Nevis Elizabeth, I'm so incredibly sorry :'( What a horrendous thing to have lost your beautiful boy so young and so suddenly. I wish I could give you an enormous hug. I hope that the people immediately around you are being understanding and know how much of a loss this is. You've lost a family member :'( Will be thinking of you.

Re: Nevis I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I know first hand how traumatic it is to lose a young labrador without prior warnings of ill health. All I can say from my family's recent loss of our gorgeous boy Teddy is that talking about him everyday, making a special planter for him in the garden and sharing his photos all helped in some way. For us, getting a new pup helped fill a MASSIVE hole in our lives. I hope that you will consider this too. With love,
Re: Nevis Hi all, just wanted to say thank you for all the kind messages you have posted. It's took me till now to log on as i couldn't face seeing all your gorgeous dogs...sorry We are just devastated, we still can't get our heads round what happened. We've went over it and there was no signs of illness, nothing different to his normal routine! He was a funny, great natured pup and we are going to miss him so much. It's too early to think about what to do next but I'll pop in now and then and see all your lovely pups. Thank you for being so friendly, supportive. Love Bruer
