Good Evening everyone, One of my labs all of a sudden has developed flaky & dry patches and although not constantly she tends to scratch more than I wish she did. . I only bathe them 1 a month and I do give them salmon oil in their food. Should I get capsules instead? They both eat salmon & brown rice - can't recall if it's grain-free - threw the bag out ♀️. I'm opened to any suggestions bc I don't want to put her on any meds. The meds took a toll on my 13 yr pittie
Have you changed her food recently? Are they treated for fleas/lice? It could be "walking dandruff". It might be worth a trip to the vets for a skin scrape as a starting point.
