Evening everyone, We have an 18month yellow lab named Murphy who over the last couple of days has gone off his food and pretty much doesn't move off the sofa. Tried to get water in him but no use... Managed to tempt him today with 2 meatballs from lunch but had to take them to him. Had him in the vets this morning and he had antibiotic injection and an injection to help him eat which hasn't worked. Also got antibiotic tablets and stomach relaxer tablets. He is usually such a happy dog running round to pretty much stuck on the sofa or floor. He is drooling and keeps getting irregular breathing. I'm not sure if he has eaten something or got something stuck in his stomach. Any advice or previous knowledge would be great as we are extremely concerned for his health. Thanks
He sounds very poorly and if not drinking maybe needs to be back at the vet ? Has he been near water ? There is lots of toxic blue green algae around us. Hoping he is on the mend soon.
