Rocky will be here tomorrow, I am not able to conventrate on anything else ) excited beyong words. There is a local band music concert in our area , me and my husband love them .Is it fine to take Rocky with us ? ( it will be for 3 hours and in the park , so he can take potty breaks ) . I am just worried if it will be too much noise and activity for second day? ( I will carry him in per carrier and make sure he will not be on ground )

I would say no, don't take him. That's too much for a tiny puppy already slightly in shock at leaving his mum and littermates.

I'm a huge fan of taking a dog everywhere, don't get me wrong - my dog goes on the London tube, goes to firework displays, red arrow displays - the works. There is nowhere I wouldn't take him (and indeed do not go to a lot of places if I can't take my dog). But I'd say 3 hours of a music concert is too much.

Plus - as you say - he won't have finished his vaccinations, so you can't let him sniff round the park. So you'd be holding him in a carrier for 3 hours - that's too much.

I'd take him for 10 minutes though...:) carried in arms. :):)

I agree with you . Thank you for clearing my confusion , I will go for few minutes and come back . My puppy carrier is a sling so he is close to me . I will keep my arm around sling . I am scared carrying him just in arms , do they jump out? ( I am so new to this, pardon me if I sound silly)

Well, my pup was sometimes a bit wriggly when carried, but he was so tiny at first it wasn't a problem. I just kept hold of him. :) That did change, he soon became too big and too wriggly to carry, but that wasn't a problem at first.

How exciting! The long awaited day is nearly here for you! :)

Woooh, how exciting! I agree absolutely. Three hours would be far too long for a puppy newly taken from his litter. Is the concert tomorrow evening? If so, I wouldn't even take him for a few minutes, because he will be afraid and overwhelmed already. It would be OK after a day or two, though.
Willow was fine just being carried in our arms at first, and barely wriggled until she was maybe 11 weeks or so, at which point, she preferred to be carried by my husband than me - I assumed because he has bigger arms and a bigger chest so it was more comfortable for her. A sling would work well, too, as long as the weight can be distributed over both shoulders as he gets a bit heavier. I tried taking Willow out in a tote bag when she got too heavy for my arms for any length of time, but it killed my shoulder.

We demand pictures when you have him home :)

I agree that 3 hours is too long plus the noise might be a bit too loud for him.
Can't wait to see puppy photos
