Not entirely sure if this is the right place for newbies to post and say hello but seemed as good as some as any. So hello, everyone! Our much loved black lab, at 13 years, sadly passed away recently. He was a great companion and perhaps the easiest dog I've ever trained. He was a natural and took to his gun dog duties like he was born to it Our new puppy arrives in four weeks, very exciting. We looked long and hard and finally settled on a pup out of FtCH Ellijas Danny (who even has his own Facebook page!). Lots of changes in approach since we last started out so been learning lots about new methods of training, getting very excited at shaping a new puppy. Photos and progress reports to follow.
