Hi everyone! This is my first post and my first lab puppy woods. He is 4 months old a real joy in me and my wife life. Recently we have noticed his bottom eyelid looks loose and when is running sometimes see red almost like a hound dog. Just wondering if any of y’all have gone through this. He has his last round of shots coming up shortly. Going to mention it to get. Just looking to see what all you guys think.
Hi Khicks, welcome to the forum I think this condition - formally known as ectropion - isn't uncommon in young Labs. You're certainly not the first person to raise it here! I also get the impression that a lot of Lab puppies grow into their eyelids a bit. Although I'm afraid I'm not qualified to give you promises about how they'll turn out! I hope your vet can reassure you when you see them.
