Lobbing the dummy far down exciting hill side with thick grass and bushes this morning. Brodick's turn. As the Dummy landed, and with perfect comedy timing, a nearby pheasant let out a very loud and distinctive Pheasanty Call. Brods whipped round, i decided to just go for it and have faith in him, Fetch Brodick i bellowed. ...AND HE DID!! ( the dummy not the pheasant that is )and he had to scurry about looking for it too. He did want to go looking for the pheasant after he returned with the dummy but I can live with that, that was his best retrieve under distraction yet! Much cheese forthcoming after that one and a rapturous ear rub.
