Hello lab lovers, I'm Jo, married to Chris and we're living the dream of owning two ten months old, bonkers, yellow labs (brother and sister) - Ted and Dotty. After saying never ever again when we lost our Newfoundland aged 6 a couple of years ago, hubby wore me down and I found myself heading 300 miles North last September to buy Ted. We quickly realised that his little sister was the last remaining pup and in a heart over head decision that we haven't regretted, she came home with us too. Currently enjoying the boisterous and bouncy stage(!) and glad of comprehensive insurance cover ;D
Re: Nice to meet you Welcome! Sounds like you are making the most of puppyhood Hope you enjoy being part of the forum.
Re: Nice to meet you Hi Jo and welcome to the forum from me and my two litter mates, Willow and Shadow, who are eight and a half months. We also set out to have only one; in fact, we came home with Willow alone when she was eight weeks, but six weeks later, we were back, picking up another one (called Dotty at the time, but renamed now to Annie) for a friend of ours and also our little man, Shadow. It goes against all advice having two from the same litter, but I thought about it hard and spend a lot of time training them separately. It's certainly a lot more hard work than just one, progress is a lot slower (at least in my case!), but there's also twice as many cuddles These are my two - Shadow on the left, Willow on the right: We'd all love to see pictures of yours!
Re: Nice to meet you Welcome to you all from Mags, Tatze and Gypsy ;D Tatze, black Lab, is my pet dog (2 years old) Gypsy - yellow GR/Lab is not mine, she's a guide dog puppy (11 months old) and due to move on to Big School in May or June.
