I wanted to call my daughter Ginny (short for Virginia) but as our name is Skinner, I thought she would be called "skinny Gin" anyway that is a aside!

Like the name Ginny for Chi Chi, but intrigued as to why you had her back? Did she not settle in the cold English countryside?

She struggled to settle with my mum and dad, as I explained before. She remained very nervous of them, unwilling to walk through doorways etc and it was nearly impossible for them to get her out for walks. So when that wasn't working, my sister took her on, but she developed a persistent barking problem which she felt she couldn't cope with. So she's back here with me, and definitely happy for it!

I downloaded some video from my GoPro earlier, including the video I took when I went to pick her up from Kate and Marcus in the middle of France. I quickly whipped this together - very poorly edited, but hey ho! I wasn't sure how she'd react to me, if at all. She's so funny; she seems happy enough to see me, but takes a little while before she realises "It's really you!!!". She had the same reaction when my sister came to visit here last weekend - a slow greeting followed by a rush of "WOW!" :D

She looked so happy when she realised it really was you :) What a lot of changes she had been through, but obviously you are here one and true love.

Oops, I forgot to do the change of name introductory thread! So, here she is, in all her orange glory...

    Juniper!

    Ginny for short.

    Juniper Berry for long.

    Ginny Bear for middle.

Well, I thought I'd seen some happy dogs in my time, but Ginny is possibly the happiest of them all. Well done Fiona and J (and all others who helped, I know there were many along the way!) xxx

The last picture she seems to be saying gleefully "I don't have to do all that sit for a treat nonsense like those silly labs" :cwl:
