Normal shedding or is it something else?

Hi everyone! My chocolate Cooper is shedding just like every other dog. I can brush him everyday and get the equivalent of another small dog off him. My question is that he has a few patches where his hair is turning white and I can pull it out by running my fingers through it. There is a spot on his back between his hips, and a couple of spots on his tail. Is this normal or should I be taking him to see the vet?

    Not very sure.
    White patches aren't that unusual.
If they aren't bothering him, or he's not losing the hair completely at that patch I would see what happens myself.

It's completely normal to be able to pluck large tufts of dead undercoat out when in full moult.
Not sure if that is what you mean though????

I wouldn't worry too much unless he's developing bald patches.:)

Thanks everyone! I didn't think it was serious. I will keep a close eye to make sure no bald spots develop!
