Scout is no longer a puppy Or is she? She officially turned 1 last month, iv only ever posted in here, now where do I post lol.. x
Re: Not a puppy anymore?... I think Charlie will always be The Pup in our house - even though he is a great lump of an 18 month old dog now. Still puppy brained though. I doubt that will change any time soon either!
Re: Not a puppy anymore?... Sad really , when we begin to question this , Sam is three and a half years old but will always be " my puppy " , even thought he is a whopping big lad of 37 kilos
Re: Not a puppy anymore?... Yes, I often get a rather dubious look when people at the dog park see Simba leaping about and ask how old he is and I tell them 2. I assure them that his brain is only 6 months old, though....
Re: Not a puppy anymore?... That's what we say - "still a puppy in the brain area" Happy birthday, Scout!!
Re: Not a puppy anymore?... I'm pretty sure puppies are still considered "puppies" until age 2! So, in my opinion, you have another year.
Re: Not a puppy anymore?... They're all puppies their whole lives as far as I'm concerned. I'll often greet an obviously ageing dog with "hello there, you gorgeous puppy!". I like to think they get the same feeling as when you call an elderly gent "young man"
