    Thanks everyone :)

Just been out for 4:30am pee, in the rain. Did a massive wee on the outdoor doormat. Oh well. Back in his crate after without a peep. Good puppy.

How did the night go? Besides the wee on the Matt. Up nice and early? Have fun today.

It went well. But I have extra sympathies for all you puppy owners out there ;D

At 7am we let Fraser out of his crate (as that's the time he gets up at home) and he went outside for another wee on the unfortunate doormat. Then he and Obi had a tug-o-war game which involved Obi bouncing around the bed (still containing humans) with a rope toy while Fraser raced round the bed trying to grab the toy. Then we had breakfast in which Obi tried all sorts of desperate moves to eat both his own and Fraser's enormous breakfast (finally we got them separated and everyone got their breakfast due and no more). Then we made human breakfast (bacon and duck eggs on the bbq) and hubby dropped an egg which immediately precipitated a mad dash for the smashed contents. The dogs negotiated a deal in which Obi got the yolk and Fraser got the shell and they shared the white. After breakfast they both got to lick the plates (a first time for Fraser I think) and they were really great at sharing but the speed of licking was a sight to behold.

In about half an hour I am heading to the dog club. Fraser will be gone when I get back. It's been lovely having him and the dogs have had a ball together :) I am kinda tired though.... The ducks are indignant at being locked up when we are clearly at home so they will enjoy having their yard back this afternoon.

Lol that picture of the tug o war game on your bed is a scream! I can see it now lol. And I'm sure the food intake speed was incredible. Milly eats super fast if we are near her I can only imagine how fast that would be if another dog was there. Hehe yolk for second breaky you did well obi.

    You have such FUN Rachael!

I can't quite get my head around bacon and egg on the BBQ for breakfast though I would be willing to try ;D

It sounds like a great weekend. Obi is a super-kind and tolerant dog; I love the video of him playing gently with the puppy.

Second dog, Rachael??? ;) Any thoughts?

Oh, groan, don't tempt me ;D We are kind of thinking about it but not till Obi is 5 or 6 (he's 2 now). A black one. But two is a lot of work. And I also would like a horse. But probably not both. So we'll see. :)

Lol. A black one would look so nice with Obi. Don't wait too long or Obi will not be so playful still. ;) ;)

Horses are lovely too. But way more expensive.

Now, now, I said no temptation! ;D

I do look at advertised litters regularly and have my short list of breeders of course ::)

Lol sorry. I already want another one so if I convince you maybe I can get my puppy fix with yours and get over my desire for another one. ;D

You will have to share your short list of breeders so I can check them out.

ROFL. If you agree to clean up all the wees and let him/her out at 2am and fend off the biting and re-plant the trashed garden and do all the training - maybe we can work something out ;)

Top of my list is Terracarol, then Bonnsway, then Aralyen, then Silverstream (except they only do yellow). Would also definitely consider Obi's breeder, Jarkk. That's my current short list :)

Haha. Might be a little impossible for me to do all that without it being in my house 24/7

Yes, so we agree - it's best if you get the puppy ;)

Haha. Matt might not be so happy to come home from deployment to find not one but 2 new puppies in the house. Not to mention the four kittens taking up residency.
