I must say I was a little nervous when my notification said that you'd attached a file to the thread. Thought you might have decided to share the poo photo after all :eek::eek:

He's suddenly expressed interest in Pommes Dauphinois, so that's a good sign.

Yes, we are having potatoes, cream and red wine for dinner, because we can.

Really hope Obi is feeling better tomorrow. Nothing more worrying than a Labrador off his food...

Thanks everyone. We were up a fair few times during the night but this morning he was interested in eating his chicken and rice breakfast and he drank about 200ml of diluted chicken stock. So that's great. A risk with these things is dehydration so it's very good that he's drinking. Still looking kinda sad and droopy and he is glancing around at his tummy/flanks a bit, which means it's all still sore. Poops are less bloody but he also seems to feel like he has to poop all the time (eg in the course of writing this post I've been outside with him three times).

He insists on wiping his bum on the dining room carpet even though we've supplied a piece of the exact same carpet outside for this purpose. :|

Aw, hope he picks up soon.

Charlie is in sympathy with him, but in Charlie's case it is a much more straightforward case of having eaten a tennis ball. Which has mostly now been vomited up on the bedroom carpet, thankfully.

Of course he does. If your bum hurts, the dining room carpet is the best. Says Betsy.

Oh no, Charlie! Don't eat tennis balls, matey.

Betsy and Obi must be related :hmm:

Moo likes wiping her bottom on carpets usually if we have swanky none dog owning guests. Me and Rory have an understanding with his belly stuff so we act quickly and avoid the worst these days:)

I have to say, I'm glad we don't have carpet :D
If the dooglies want to wipe their bums or throw up, they have to do it on a piece of vet bed :)

He's been feeling a lot better this afternoon :) Tonight he's recommenced his usual vigil in the kitchen.

He looks sad because the pre-dinner tidbits aren't flowing tonight. It's poached chicken breast and rice only for Obi.
