He is so lovely. I think the strong colours on his face are just fantastic. :)

I love his strong markings too. The breed standard places emphasis on the whiteness of Clumbers, I prefer the markings (of course! ;) )

    He is lovely.
I didn't know about the whiteness being "good"
    Thanks Heidrun ;)

Beautiful photos of a lovely boy. Personally, I just love the darker markings he has.

He is a cracking looking dog, and obviously enjoying what he has been bred to do.

Nah. The rest of them look sort of "washed out" next to him.

*duck quick* as the wrath of clumber owners is not to be trifled with!

Not too much to report on the training front. We continue to work on our hunting and retrieving. Obi still loves a run around on occasion when retrieving but I just go back to him on a sit stay, dummy between us and picking on his recall to remind him of his straight lines plus I try and find a backstop whenever possible. I've been doing some left, right and back for marks and memories too. I have some shooting planned later this month so we'll get him out on some game which is what he needs really to work on his steadiness. I'm also upping the efforts around steadiness to dummies. He seems to have plenty of retrieving desire so it's time to have control :D

My friend took some photos on one of our little training sessions. Here's Obi with his game face on:

And with his listening ears on:

    He looooooooves to retrieve

and in general life is just so much fun!!!

He is so lovely. I've touched him, you know. In real life. I got to give him a pat (he was whizzing round, too busy after that).:):)

Ha! I live permanently in old clothes. I tell myself I'll get changed after the morning walk but it never happens. I drop Lizzie off at pre-school and see the properly dressed mums as I scuttle away in my my brown/green clothes slightly covered in mud :D

Hehe, I'm similar. I'm in dog gear or gym gear pretty much all day. Sometimes my gym gear becomes dog gear...

I'll be arriving at my business partner's house after seeing you and rushing straight to the bathroom to make myself look presentable :D
