    Thanks Naya. I can't imagine how dog owners can just ignore their own barking dog. I've tried the 'it's ok, thank you for letting us know' with Wilson and sometimes it works but even when we manage to distract him from what he's barking at he will still bark a few seconds apart as he comes back to us and into the house. He also barks at us for no apparent reason but I'm starting to realise some of it is when he's tired and he just needs to be told to go to bed and that seems to work.
