Re: Oh No! Tatze has eaten her harness! That's great mags. I know the relief you must be feeling. I would've measured the bits aswell just to make sure. ;D The things our dogs put us through. Wow jade that's so ooooo. :-\. The things some people do. The things a Labrador will eat not such a surprise. ;D
Re: Oh No! Tatze has eaten her harness! Boogie, I am going to be chuckling all day about your vomity harness jigsaw. So glad it's all back on the outside. As for the poopy tissues and pants.... Oh boy. Dogs...what are they thinking?
Re: Oh No! Tatze has eaten her harness! A lady at my printmaking class told me about a lab she had that ate a glass tumbler, they had to feed it a loaf of bread to bind to the glass and push it through, amazingly it worked and the lab survived. x
Re: Oh No! Tatze has eaten her harness! My very first lab was a great one for running away and raiding dustbins. Huge distended stomach and gas problems would ensue, often followed by plastic bags appearing from the rear end. Too disgusting for words.
Re: Oh No! Tatze has eaten her harness! I heard of a lab eating a bra which came out the other end in one piece - with a bit of help!! ;D
Re: Oh No! Tatze has eaten her harness! Haven't had this with a dog but with one of my cats. She has an obsession with carrier bags and after eating one she obviously needed to poo it back out but it didn't all come out and my other half had to chase her around the house to pull the rest out while I gagged in the kitchen. Blergh

She's done it again! (Eaten her harness) This thread is almost exactly two years old. You'd think I'd have learned by now! But she's been just fine lately on the eating things front - so I popped her in the car with her harness on, which I've done many times lately. Mistake - she's eaten it - usual form, all except the plastic buckles! I stopped the car and heard 'noises' which was when I just knew. Ho hum, I refuse to worry, she'll throw it up in a few days if she goes true to form.
They will always keep us busy.....! Our first lab ate a Christmas tree ball... it was unbreakable. I bought them because our children were very little. She was always in her crate and almost one year old, so I thought she could be de-crated for a Christmas tree and a crate in the living room was too much. In the middle of the night I heard a lot of noise. My oh was abroad and I was alone with our 4 children. I went downstairs and there she was, decorated with Christmas tree decorations. I also found the balls...2 were missing...I rang my sister and she came with her husband who drove me to the vet, in the middle of the night, can you believe this??? My sister stayed with our children. Luckily the balls came out the other way! After giving her Dutch ontbijtkoek!
History repeats itself hopefully it comes up quick! Nothing like waiting 5 weeks for something to reappear
