What a great thread. Maddie is 11 and has just one pace...... slow. We love her with all our heart and I'm sure you will agree, she wears the grey well!!
Wow, she is stunning - thanks so much for sharing this photo. I definitely would love to see more of Maddie! Is she choccy or black? My guess is choccy, but a little hard to tell here.
@Emily_BabbelHund Maddie is choccy, she's like an old bear with really thick fur. When she sheds she looks like she's just come out of hibernation!
I think the very first thread I ever read on this forum was the rosette photo of Maddie and your wee pup (I've forgotten her name!). Maddie has a beautiful face, I'm so glad that you shared another photo of her.

Maddie is a great dog, we're so lucky with her. The last 3 years have been tough, she's had a tumour in her face, is fully arthritic and her thyroid doesn't work. She takes more tablets than any dog I know but still smiles and wags! We know her well and listen to her body, keeping her weight down has been key and having a fantastic vet has definitely ensured that we've been able to enjoy her for longer. We always say, it's because she's full of love that she's still here! We've also a young lab Winnie who's now one and she has given Maddie a new lease of life! Enjoy every minute with your dog, it's such a special and powerful thing. They bring us so much joy and in return I hope my two say they've got a great life!!
