I've been trying to place an order on ZooPlus for the last couple of days. We have a really irritating setup with the bank here, where you're only allowed to spend a certain amount (about €400) on each card every day, regardless of how much money you have in your account. It's madness. What with booking our Eurotunnel crossing, hotels, training, buying all sorts of bits and pieces we need for the trip, Christmas presents, birthday presents etc, I keep hitting that daily limit and, each time I've tried to place the zooplus order, which is for food and a few other bits, it fails. So, I've had a lot of emails that have said "this order has failed". Annoyingly, you also get a confirmation of order email, before the payment is actually processed and declined. A few days ago, I was so confused by all this, because I had two emails saying that two orders had failed, yet one of them online said that its status was "tick". Argh! I called them up and the woman informed me that neither had been successful, so I had to try again. This morning, I had a different email. Previously, all the emails just said "try again", and you had to go back to the site, find all the products, add them to your cart, and then go through all the process again; there was no way of trying a different payment method for the same order. Until this morning, when I received one that allowed me to do just that! I was all sorts of excited, knowing that the card had plenty of limit on it, and so I clicked the link, went through PayPal and made the payment. It worked! Yes! (Incidentally, PayPal in Andorra doesn't let you link straight to your bank account; you still have to go through a card, so you're still limited by the daily restrictions). I've just received a dispatch notice - yes! Except....what's this? Two dispatch notices?! Oh, poop. One of yesterday's orders also went through successfully without me noticing.... So, now I am expecting delivery of: Four plastic squeaky balls, Six Kong Air balls Four litres of salmon oil Five kilos of dried tripe Two hundred cow ears and.... SIXTY kilos of dog food PAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
It is really smelly, but it comes in bags which are 500g each with all that smelly deliciousness nicely contained within - plus a zip-lock closure for once you've opened them
I think every kong will be a kibble kong for a long time! Just hoping it all has a decent shelf-life. They don't even have cow ears very often. I bought 50 in May and they still have plenty left. My options this time were 30 or 100. I opted for 100. Stupid, stupid, stupid! I wonder if there's a black market for cow ears here? It's a good job we have a big car - we have to drive about 90 minutes to the place this is being delivered to, so we said we'd make a day of it, go to the lovely fresh food market they have there, take the dogs for a wander and grab a spot of lunch in the sunshine. I don't think we'll be buying much fruit and veg at the market - no space!
Juno says she's happy to give a home to the Kong Air balls in Shadow and Willow don't want them all, but she doesn't have cow ears or tripe - she's not sure if they are something you eat or play with
Now you come to mention it, Shadow is always putting his feet all over my keyboard, and "sleeping" on me while I'm working. Maybe he's just worked out how to use the computer..... sneaky!
Ha ha! Does that mean you have maxed out your card? Again! Not sure I would want to explain that to the OH
Hehe, it's OK, today is another day and it's back to normal again. Next, to start on the Christmas shopping
