YAY! We attended our first class this evening - it was held at the ManxSPCA where we adopted Coco from. We were so nervous about taking such an unruly dog to a group class, but he has attended before when he was an "inmate", which actually helped.
It's very basic, which is where we're at anyway - heel (loose lead really), sit, down, come, leave it. It was brilliant to be working in a room with the distraction of a small group of other dogs, it is other dogs that are our downfall. Really looking forward to next week & will be practicing over & over.
Met a lady there who knew one of his litter-mates who had been trained properly from the beginning, a great dog - she said.

And Coco is a great dog too - just different, and at a different stage. :)

    Well done, you.

Glad you had a great time :)

Julies right Coco is a great dog too and only going to get better with all this effort you're putting in.

Glad it went well ☺. It's great that he had already been there too so it wasn't brand new to him. Enjoy your homework this week ☺
