our own claim to fame - blood donation

i feel like im being really big headed posting this but it done well on awareness on its travels round all the newspapers

thanks we was in pick me up magazine too, we was hoping it would raise more awareness as alot of people we spoke to didnt even know dogs could donate blood or have different blood types!

MIne donated blood, sadly the recipient died. Well done to your dog I have to admit I really didn't want my dog to do it, but couldn't say no to a friend.

 

aww thats sad, sorry to hear that, i was worried ill admit, she was super excited as i got out of work and it was late at night, think she thought she was going for a walk, but she had to be sedated as she has rolling veins in her neck so it took alot of work to get blood out. they said another couple of hours and ace would have been a gonner
