Re: Penny's getting speyed!!!! Penny had her post-op check this evening and is doing well. As I've said since the start she doesn't even know she's had anything done! The vet said we can have another free post-op check in 7 days if we want so I'll see how I think she's doing and if I'm worried at all then I can take advantage of that The vet also checked her bum... But I don't really know why! Bad news is I can't bath her for another 10 days though. She smells like vets and it's not nice. Gave her a wipe over this evening though with some puppy wipes I bought ages ago. That'll have to do for now I guess.

Re: Penny's getting speyed!!!! We are now 8 days post op and Penny is continuing to act like nothing has happened. I started letting her have five minutes off lead run around on our walks two days ago as she was starting to bounce off the walls! I also took her cone off for good on Thursday as her wounds are Healing really nicely. The wounds either side of her 'belly button' are really good, and then the third wound is the one where they actually took the ovaries out from and is the wound we were warned to keep an eye in the most. This last day it's started to look a little less healed than the others so her cone will be going back on from tonight for another couple of days and we'll see how it goes.
