My lab got one of these tonight and chewed the end about an inch down little by little in just an hour. Is that normal?? I took it away, but I'm really scared it's going to make her sick. I've only had her for two weeks. She's about 2 yrs old, according to the vet. Help!

I don't give Holly antler horns because they're very hard and can break teeth.

I’m not familiar with the deer horn, but we’ve had several of the pet stages ‘fake stick’ and that gets chewed down until small and then thrown out.

Definitely wouldn't give them to Hattie & Charlie, to much of a dental risk which is not only very painful for a dog but for your wallet too. x

Just saw that I got some responses. Thanks, all! Just fyi, she threw up a bunch of plastic that night and seemed fine the next day. No more petstages or deer antlers for us!
