Hard hearted Mags comes into the room ...

My two are never given human food and us eating means nothing to them - honestly, I can eat anything right next to them and they don't even look. If you never do it they never expect it.

Of course there is a reason for this. When Gypsy's owner goes to café/restaurant/pub/work canteen he or she can't have the dog sitting and drooling at every mouthful! :)

Willow does this, too. I am also hard-hearted and ignore her, enjoying every last mouthful. She eventually gets bored and moves away.

Then I nearly die of guilt and go and get treats for them.

    Poor boy - obviously starved!

We have never fed Mira titbits from our plates or at the table. If she does get anything it goes in her bowl. Cruel and heartless here too :-[

Have to admit that I am pretty hard-hearted too...I don't normally give in. But my hubby is a different story. And this was his snack....and yes, Simba got the last bite. Mission accomplished. ::)

I have never given Charlie anything (although OH feeds him all the time) so Charlie doesn't sit and beg. BUT when I sit down to eat, Charlie disappears. He searches the whole house for something - anything - to bring me. He always finds something. And brings it, very hopefully. And he'll repeat this process until I've finished my cheese on toast (or whatever)..... ::) ::) ::) I'm sat on the sofa with a small collection of oven knobs, waste paper baskets, shoes and so on at the side of me....

Hahaha I love this! I can so imagine that! He's bringing you anything he can think of in the hopes you'll trade it for some food!!

oh poor boy!! I have to admit to giving my two little bits, so I often have a double whammy of two mournful, starved faces on my lap :D
