I'm so happy I just have to post - Belle has tolerated Scooby since he joined us last October. She occasionally chases after him on the beach when he's fetching his Kong Stick (she is NOT interested in toys). but nothing develops. he is oblivious and she doesn't understand "fetch". This evening we were watching them through the kitchen window mooch around the garden, independently, when Belle suddenly tried to whip Scooby up into a game of chase (she loves to be chased). It went on for a few minutes - but it turned out they both wanted to be chased, so the game fizzled out. It was just so nice to see two older dogs being very very silly.
Aww that's lovely to hear. We have rocky a black 13 month old and now considering having another pup but what sex to have we dont know, also what's bothering me is that rocky now not in a cage but the other one will be and also in the same room while we are out. I keep thinking how do you train when you have 2 dogs. Is it easier to have 2 or stick with just 1. I seem to be thinking a bit negative at the minute but would love Ricky to have playmate while he's still young,
