Our pup Cooper used to occasionally play in the water bowl but I think she out grew it. We do keep a large (3 gal.) bowl on the back deck that is mostly filled with rain water in the winter. She will put her face completely in that one. We have two friends with Samys. One of them is almost 2 yrs and still a consummate water paddler. We have to pick up the kitchen bowl when Barley is at our house.
Homer deliberately rattles his water bowl if he wants attention, stainless steal against gritty tiled kitchen floor is one sure way to get me running.
