So, the invalid is still wearing the cone of shame, but his face is obviously not hurting any more because he is happily lying down and sleeping. He has also obviously got over the effects of the antibiotics because he is his usual attention-demanding self.... trying to persuade me to come and play, throwing his toys around... Such a relief. I never thought I'd be pleased to be smacked on the leg again with that dratted tuggy ball. He even let me put some cream on his face today without Paul being there to hold him down (Paul's away for the day and I thought we'd just have to do without the treatment...). I won't say he was happy about it, but he was pretty tolerant. A very happy lab owner here. ;D
